MAIN PROJECT

Tomorrow night, 26th February, we welcome Harry Scott to give his expert feedback on our Main project entries. It promises to be a really entertaining evening, with a great diversity of topics and photography styles to go through - I don't envy Harry's job of picking out a winner!

As with the Print of the Year a couple of weeks ago, we have a LOT of images to go through, so it will be a prompt start at 7:15, a short tea break and no promise of being finished by 9pm, but I'm sure everyone would rather hear Harry's comments than rush unnecessarily.

DAVID PICKFORD

The following week, 5th March, we welcome David Pickford DPAGB back to the club to give a talk on Audio Visual work, which is a presentation of photography that is becoming increasingly popular. It is something that members might like to have a go at over the summer, and we will be setting a fun challenge in this regard, so please come along and see what it is all about. David is great entertainment, and I'm certain it will be an enjoyable talk.

TOWN HOUSE MUSEUM EXHIBITION

Each year we hold an exhibition of the clubs' work in the Brechin Townhouse Museum. Several members left their Print of the Year images for display in the exhibition, which runs through the month of May, but we have space for many more images. Ideally, images should be mounted in 20" x 16" mounts, to fit the frames that we have for the event. Each member can submit 2 images for inclusion in the exhibition. If members do not have access to printing, then help can be provided for the cost of the paper/ink/mount (within reason!!).

CLUB MAGAZINE

Thank you to those who have submitted articles and pictures for the club magazine - however, there is still scope for more of your work to be included. In particular, we still need potential cover images to choose from, so please submit these to Hayley as soon as possible, as per the requirements sent out previously. If in doubt, submit the HIGHEST resolution images you can, and Hayley will try to make them work. It's YOUR magazine remember, and needs to feature your work!
