Twenty20

Perhaps slightly less exciting than the recent South Africa v England Twenty20 series, but no less entertaining, this week we welcome members of Carnoustie Photo Group to join in our discussion of the images we exchanged earlier in the season.

This year we have sought to make the process more meaningful, by exchanging RAW/unedited JPEG images, which has given much more scope to be creative with the editing process.

Hayley and I were at Carnoustie Photo Group last Thursday to present the outcomes, and it was really interesting to see how two groups of photographers often tackled the images in the same way - and sometimes completely differently.

And one of Carnoustie's edits!!

It's a great fun evening, and an opportunity to pick up some editing tips and ideas, and ideally spark questions you may have about editing techniques that we can cover in future members' nights. We have a wealth of knowledge in the club, and are delighted to try and teach skills, but the first challenge is understanding what things people would like to be able to do.

We therefore look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there tomorrow evening to welcome our guests from Carnoustie.
