SPF Portfolios Results

The results of the Scottish Photographic Federation Annual Portfolios competition have been published today. As yet I do not have individual scores, but we do have acceptances and the club standings.

BPS submitted a club entry based relatively closely on our Angus Cup and John Senior Trophy entries. There are three categories - Colour Print, Mono Print and Digital, to which the club submits 4, 4 and 6 images respectively.

The club results are shown below - with an excellent 10th= in both the print categories. Unfortunately we weren't so successful in the digital category.

This is still a terrific overall result for our small club, and gives us something to build on for next season. The entry for the 2020 Portfolios will again be aligned as closely as possible to the Angus Cup and John Senior Trophy entries - this we feel is the fairest way to represent the club's successful images on the national stage.

Five images were awarded individual acceptances, and are shown below. Congratulations to Dennis Forman in particular for his first national acceptance!
