

Beautiful Reds - Main Project Winner
Jock Elliott has rounded off the club competition year with another well deserved win. The Main Project was judged by Stan Farrow FRPS EFIAP DPAGB and Jock's group of twelve superb images of red squirrels 'Beautiful Reds' was awarded first place. We were delighted to welcome Al Buntin ARPS MPAGB from Monifieth, the first judge to come to Brechin to present his comments and results in person since February 2020. The winner of the Colour Print of the Year was Ian Bain with 'Love in a Mist' and Ian was also the winner of the Mono Print of the Year with 'Berlin Nightlife'. The Digital Image of the Year was jointly won by Jock Elliott with 'Northern Goshawk Stare' and Anne May with 'Dun Dahlia'. Colour Print of the Year is


SPF Plate Trophy 2022
At the end of January the results of the Scottish Photographic Federation Digital Championship Plate Trophy results were announced. Fifteen images were selected to represent Brechin Photographic Society in this club competition and the points awarded put us in an excellent seventh equal place out of twenty-one clubs from all over Scotland.
