Print of the Year 2019/20
The deadlines are coming thick and fast now! Thank you to everyone who submitted images for the Meffan Exhibition, I think we have 39 prints, which will be a great advert for the club. The opening of the exhibition will be confirmed soon - it'll be Friday 24th or Saturday 25th January. You can subscribe to Angus Alive's mailing list by following this link http://www.angusalive.scot/visualartssignup in order to receive an invite to this and other events. We now move on to the Print of the Year, our main competition for the year. We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Roy Robertson HonFRPS back to the club to judge the competition.
The format remains the same as last season - each member can submit up to three prints in total, either two colour and one mono, or one colour and two mono. Trophies will be presented for the best colour print of the year and best mono print of the year.
Images that you have used earlier in the season can be resubmitted for this competition, but any images must have been taken/created after the 1st January 2019
Prints must be submitted no later than the 14th January, and be accompanied by a matching PDI sent to bpscomps@gmail.com in the normal way. Prints must be mounted in accordance with the rules printed on the club programme.
Last season, both competitions were won by Hayley-Jane Stanley.
