Zooming into the 2020-21 season at BPS
We kicked off the 2020-21 season in unusual fashion on Tuesday night, with a Zoom meeting. Whether the format would be a success or not was a complete unknown, but it was great to see 28 people joining the meeting. We can also report that we have 44 members signed up for the new season - only 2 less than last season, so a huge thank you to everyone who has continued to support the club in these strange circumstances.
Our club is founded on friendship, and to be able to keep the group together in any way we can is incredibly valuable.

A copy of the club magazine has now been delivered to everyone who has joined up. It's been quite a mission to find you all, but we hope everyone has safely received their copy. Hayley puts a huge amount of effort into making the magazine great, but the content comes from everyone, so thank you for your contributions.
As I mentioned several times on Tuesday, next week (the 15th) is the deadline for competition entries to the first round of the Annual Image Competition. Please get your images to me at bpscomps@gmail.com - up to two images on a subject of your choice.
There is no meeting planned for next week, but the Committee will be meeting to discuss what steps to take to make the digital content for the forthcoming season the best it can be. We were unsure of the number of members who would join up, or the popularity of Zoom, but now that we have had such a great response, we need to up our game in terms of content!
We look forward to seeing you all again on the 22nd September for our next Zoom meeting. As always, new members are always welcome, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to join the group.
