AGM

The Brechin Photographic Society Annual General Meeting took place on Tuesday 5th April, by Zoom once again. I don't think any of us would have predicted last March that we'd still be meeting by Zoom every week, but we have high hopes that next year will be different, allowing us to meet in person regularly with some speakers and judges Zooming in.

Beryl and Jock chose to step down and were thanked for their valuable contributions to the committee. A new committee was proposed, mainly with the same faces but with the return of Ben and addition of Paul. More details can be found by clicking on the Committee tab above.

BPS Committee 2022-2023.

Norman gave an excellent review of of the year which included a wide range of speakers with something for everyone to learn from, enjoy and, in some cases, be inspired. There were successful outings and the Facebook challenges continue. Judges gave their time to consider and comment on our work and, at the meeting, winners of the club trophies were announced.

The AGM ended with a sad but heart-warming farewell to Lindsay. Happy memories were shared and we all raised a glass to a wonderful character and friend who will be sorely missed.
