The 2024-25 session was brought to an end with good food, blethers and the trophy presentation at the Glen Esk Cafe, near Edzell. It was great to see so many members, including a few we hadn’t seen for a while, and to have a chance to get together before the summer break.

President Norman Mackenzie presented trophies to delighted winners - Charlie Allison for the Jim Sneddon Shield, Division 2; Paul Thomson for the B&W Salver for the Monochrome Print of the Year and Anne May for the Dalhousie Trophy for the Main Project.

Unfortunately double winners Chamila Brieske and Ben Freeman were unable to attend.
Chamila won the South Esk Trophy for the Mini Panel and the 2020 Salver for the Digital Image of the Year.
Ben won the David Clark Trophy for topping Division 1 and the Kay’s Salver for the Colour Print of the Year. It should be noted that Ben had an amazingly successful year being placed first, second or third in every club competition including every round of the four making up the Annual Image Competition, Division 1. Most of us can only dream of achieving such high quality and success, but we’ll keep trying.
