An Abstract Knockout

To start of the New Year we had another exciting Knockout Competition, following Charlie's Facebook Review, part 2. This time there was a theme, Abstract, which was interpreted in a variety of interesting and imaginative ways. Thirty-two images were entered by 15 members then those of us attending the Zoom meeting viewed them in pairs and voted to eliminate one each time until two were left standing. The winner was Ben Freeman's 'Abstract 9' oil and peacock feathers, shown below,

and in second place, pipped at the post, was John Griffith's icy pattern 'Abstract 31'.
