Kayaking Down the North Esk
Aberdeen University Canoe Club held a day of racing at the River North Esk, near Edzell. This gave BPS members many great opportunities for taking action shots as the high water levels tested the skills of the brave competitors to complete the course successfully. We look forward to the kayakers coming back for us to enjoy another thrilling day of photographing people on, in and under the water. Thankfully everyone that went under bobbed up, faily quickly. Brechin City Football Club
We've been fortunate this year to be given the opportunity to try some action photography at Brechin City Football Club. Graeme Youngson, the football club photographer, gave a fascinating talk on what he does on match days and showed some of his best shots. The members who decided to have a go thoroughly enjoyed the chance to be on the touch line at a home matc

The members who rose to the challenge produced a very wide range of themes and layouts giving our judge, Linda Golightly, a tricky task when considering which panels should be the winners. Linda joined us by Zoom and gave an excellent critique of every image and the final pane
