Dear Fellow Member CLUB AUCTION As you will no doubt be aware, there’s a delicate balancing act in ensuring the club maintains a reasonable financial surplus from year to year whilst at the same time, putting on interesting and varied events throughout the season. Some of these events involve guest speakers and judges and there’s an associated cost with this. Membership fees at BPS are purposefully held at the lower range of fees that are charged at

Appraisal Night with Donald Ford and the 2019/20 Syllabus
Next Tuesday we welcome Donald Ford back to the club. Those who were there for his visit last year will know it is a great fun evening. Donald is a former international footballer and cricketer, and now a renowned golf course photographer. This season is a little different, as they have provided us with 20 images of real quality, and it really might be quite a short

Be the Judge!
On Tuesday evening we've decided to tackle the choosing of Brechin's images for the Angus Cup and John Senior Trophy a little differently, and hopefully in a way that will be far more fun! We also have a 10 in 10 talk from Iain McLachlan to look forward to. Andy went some way to explain the job of the judge on Tuesday night, but for many reasons it might be beneficial to know a bit more about the process. The SPF and PAGB publish guidance for judges, which you might be inte
